Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

At Nova Dental, our priority is to provide you with high-quality dental care, with transparency in our treatments, pricing, and policies. This policy outlines the cases in which refunds or credits may apply in favor of the patient.

1. Payments and Deposits

Some treatments require an advance payment or deposit to secure the appointment and prepare materials.
These deposits are non-refundable, unless the cancellation is made by Nova Dental.

2. Appointment Cancellations

If you cancel in advance, the deposit may be applied as a credit to reschedule your appointment.

3. Treatments Already Started

Once a procedure or treatment has begun, no refunds will be issued for services already rendered or materials used.
If the treatment cannot be completed due to medically justified reasons (as determined by the treating dentist), each case will be reviewed individually, and a partial refund proportional to the unfinished portion of the treatment may be granted, or a credit may be applied toward another service.

4. Long-Term Treatments (e.g., orthodontics, implants, dental rehabilitation)

In payment plans, the amount paid corresponds to the work completed up to that date.
If the patient chooses to discontinue the treatment, no refunds will be issued for payments already made. However, the patient may request a detailed statement showing the completed progress and pending costs.

5. Cosmetic Procedures

Cosmetic treatments (e.g., whitening, veneers) are subjective in terms of results and do not guarantee identical outcomes to visual references.
Therefore, refunds do not apply once the service has been completed, unless there is a proven defect in the material or procedure.

6. Insurance Payments

In the case of payments made through insurance providers or third parties, refunds will be subject to the policies of the respective insurance company.
